SYNOPSIS

Only chance for an isolated CG or two seems to exist ahead of vort max which is progged to move across the W Mediterranean into the Ionian Sea by Monday morning. Model guidance suggests that best chances for shallow TSTMS will exist over the S Ionian Sea late in the period ... but current thinking is that activity will remain too isolated to warrant a TSTM area.
